Fellowship Experience

What are your biggest learnings in business?

Working with real world clients in the REMT+ program has been an eye-opening experience. Even though I have job experience, this program has taught me so much more, especially about the business side, including collaboration, strategic planning, teamwork, and focusing on the client’s needs.

What are your biggest learnings in personal growth?

During the program, I discovered some important things about myself. I realized that I’m good at branding and public relations, which I really enjoy. I also noticed something surprising my degree in Psychology has been helping me on the business side without me even realizing it. It’s been useful in how I approach and understand situations.I’ve also learned so much from my classmates. Their fresh ideas and perspectives have opened my mind and made me realize how talented and creative people from ASEAN countries are. We have so much to offer to the world, and it’s inspiring to see how diverse yet united we can be. This experience has not only helped me grow professionally but also made me appreciate the potential we all have to make a difference.

Your Vision for ASEAN

My vision for the future of ASEAN is for us to be united as one, just like the slogan of the Philippines last SEA Games: We Win as One. I hope we can win as one in everything promoting inclusivity, celebrating diversity, showcasing talent, and growing together in business and the economy. I want to see ASEAN people offering the best to each other, supporting one another, and acting as one united community. Because its not only fun in the Philippines, But its more fun in ASEAN.

Message to Future Fellows

Don’t be afraid to show the world your best. Your authenticity is what will make you stand out from the rest. Stay humble, treat everyone with kindness and respect, and always embrace the spirit of collaboration. Remember, you are not just representing yourself or your country you are representing the ASEAN identity. We are the future of ASEAN, and together, we have the power to shape a brighter, more united region.
